The Rjukan Railway – train timetable

From Rjukan to Mæl:
Saturday and sunday: 11:00 and 14:00
From Mæl to Rjukan:
Saturday and sunday: 12:30 and 15:30
The train ride takes 45 minutes.

Mæl station and ferry jetty
Feel free to enjoy your own food and drinks at Mæl station. There are no vending machines or shops here. The area is a World Heritage site and is not secured. Use the area at your own risk. Please respect the environment and enjoy the scenery. A visit aboard the D/F Ammonia is included with a ticket for Rjukanbanen.
