Outdoor photo exhibition
A free exhibition with historical photos is displayed outside the Telemark Gallery and the World Heritage Center.
The Telemark Gallery and the World Heritage Center Notodden are located in Tinfo’s cultural environment. The area was protected in 2014 and provides a cultural-historical picture of industrial and social development in Norway at the beginning of the 20th century. Parts of the area are part of the world heritage. With an old wood grinding mill, paper mill, ponds, power plants and homes, Tinfo’s cultural environment is a holistic cultural environment of national value, and typical of the hydropower-based industry of the 20th century. The museum is located in Tinfos’ old paper mill, one of the first industrial companies in Notodden.
The photo exhibition shows historical photos from the museum’s collection. All the photographs show the Tinfos area with motifs related to the many years of industrial history.
The outdoor exhibition is free and can be experienced from Easter, and throughout the summer.
